The Basic Rider Course (BRC) is the beginning to your life long journey. Sunstate Motorcycle Training is the safest environment to learn how to ride a motorcycle. It is tailored for beginner and experienced riders, upon your successful completion you will get your license endorsement (license endorsement is for 2 & 3 Wheel).

 

The 3-Wheel Basic Riders Course (3WBRC) you will get your license/endorsement (license/endorsement is for 3-wheel only).

The Basic RiderCourse 2 (BRC2) can improve your skills on your motorcycle. If you’ve been riding for some time, there’s always something new to learn. If you recently learned how to ride there's deficiently more to add to your skills. As a newer rider this course is a fun and safe way to improve you skills.

  • The Basic Rider Course (BRC) is a 2 day course -15 hours with an eCourse (a short online session).  You will have a combination of online learning, classroom learning, and motorcycle riding.

  • The 3-Wheel Basic RiderCourse (3WBRC) is a 2 day course - 16 hours with an eCourse (a short online session).​You will have a combination of online learning, classroom learning, and 3-wheel motorcycle riding.

  • The Basic RiderCourse 2 (BRC2) is a 1 day course - 6 hours (this course is a skill improvement course for licensed riders it does not provide a license/endorsement).

Sunstate Motorcycle Training is the premiere training center for the greater Jacksonville area. Our training is for beginning riders and experienced riders. You will discover how to apply simple and proven techniques with skills and confidence. If you're an experienced rider this will enhance your riding skills and if you're a beginner you will gain the skills and confidence to be a safe rider.

Share your 3-Wheel on the road If you are going to ride a 3-wheel, we want you to ride safely as possible. Sunstate Motorcycle Training will give you an introduction to the 3-Wheel handling skills that will help you ride more sagely and advance more quickly to enjoying your 3-Wheel machine.

 The Basic RiderCourse 2 is designed to further develop your riding expertise in a secure setting. Even if you have been riding for some time, you will find something new to learn in exercises designed to hone braking, cornering, swerving and control skills. This course is a skill improvement course for licensed riders it does not provide a license/endorsement.

Private Lessons are one on one with an advanced level instructor focusing on providing you a relaxed atmosphere that is better suited to enhance your learning and training needs to get your motorcycle license/endorsement. covering 15hrs motorcycle training at your availability.

If you know someone who wants to ride (or maybe a long-time permit holder that’s going to get their license “someday”), a Basic RiderCourse Gift Certificate makes an awesome present!  great way to encourage someone to be trained / better training and get their license/endorsement. BENEFITS OF THE COURSE

Legally you must have a motorcycle license endorsement to ride in the state of Florida. By taking this training (BRC) you will have the skills and confidence to perform more comfortably on the road. A license endorsement will help to avoid getting a ticket or jail time. We  encourage all rider without your license endorsement to take this course. This is a skill improvement course for licensed riders, course will help you tremendously.

i took the sat/sun morning class this week with brian as the instructor, came in with minimal experience (mostly backpacking) with motorcycles, and i left feeling confident in my abilities. not only is he incredibly patient and understanding, but he knows exactly how to help a new rider and what things to tweak to make it easy. he clearly loves what he does, and he really puts that into how he teaches. not only for me, but for everyone i took the class with. if you're looking to get a motorcycle endorsement, i HIGHLY recommend going to sunstate. I have wanted to get my two wheel motorcycle license for a very long time, but was apprehensive about taking the required evaluation class with my skill level being at zero. But my desire to ride finally outweighed my apprehension. But that being said, I walked into the classroom, feeling, overwhelmed, and not believing in myself.Luckily for me, my instructor, Brian was able to help me fight through my self doubt and I was able to get that motorcycle endorsement!It is obvious that Brian loves his job and has passion for creating an environment where people can succeed. He not only dealt with my insecurities and lack of confidence, but he was able to communicate to each and every person that was in our group. Honestly, I don’t know how he did it.To prepare yourself, do the ecourse in a timely fashion. You can’t skim through it, and it really is 4-5 hours long. Wear layers of clothing - bring a snack or two!And - give yourself time!! I dropped the bike on myself in the first 15 minutes, then at the end of the class on the first day I forgot to put the kickstand down TWICE (fatigue is a real thing) The second day things really started to click, don’t give up!!! * I almost gave up, and I am SO glad I didn’t!HUGE HUGE Shout out to Brian, and the group that I was with!

I would like to highly recommend Sunstate Motorcycle Training! My trainer, Brent, does a great job as an instructor and a coach.A fellow student in our class had NEVER ridden a motorcycle before and was curious about motorcycles. She started from nothing and after being coached, by Brent and Doug, passed the course! Personally, I had only ridden for less than a year.I had taken a course with another school but I learned so MUCH more from Brent.Here is some advice: 1. No matter how long you have ridden before, do no take the training for granted - take it for what it is and follow directions - you may actually learn something new! 2. While doing the course training, do not be afraid to ask questions, or ask to repeat the instructions.
